Lucy Feagins

Lucy studied Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne. In a former life, she worked as a set dresser in the film industry, and as a stylist.  Lucy has contributed to titles including Inside Out, The Age and The Saturday Paper.

Managing Editor

Elle holds degrees in Journalism/IR, and Languages from Deakin University, Melbourne. She worked as an editor for women’s lifestyle and design magazines in Amman, Jordan, before relocating to Kyoto, Japan, where she wrote on art, design, and culture. The former sky waitress and rouseabout returned to Melbourne in 2017 for her dream job with TDF – hence the launch of this column!

Art Director

Annie Portelli studied Graphic Design at Swinburne University and has worked across fashion and advertising since graduating in 2013. Annie is passionate about identity design, and creates beautiful branding, signage and print assets for all our special projects and collaborations.

Partnerships Manager

Alice holds a Bachelor of Communication (Media) from RMIT University and has over 6 years experience in marketing and advertising. She is passionate about creating unique brand collaborations that offer engaging, authentic and memorable connections with audiences.

Advertising and Sponsorship Manager

Chelsea holds a Business (Marketing) degree from RMIT University. She has over 10 years of experience in the digital media industry, where she has worked closely with a diverse mix of clients to maximise their return from advertising and partnerships.

Graphic Designer

Ashley is a Melbourne-based graphic designer who is passionate about illustration, brand identity and conceptual thinking. With a Bachelor of Communication Design from RMIT University, Ashley has built up a broad skill set.

News Editor

Sally is a writer and producer. She is the founding editor of a publication called , which focuses on personal and professional development of women. Sally worked as a freelance writer and in the film industry before moving to New York in 2014. After finding her feet in Melbourne again, Sally joined the TDF dream team in 2017.

Georgina is the founder and editor of online magazine. She’s an accomplished writer, landscape designer and ponderer with qualifications in journalism, horticulture and design. Nature is her muse and plants are her passion.

Emma completed her Masters at the Kyoto University of Foreign Languages and went on to work for Japanese media in Sydney for five years. Returning to her hometown of Melbourne, and roles in the arts (NGV, Melbourne Recital Centre) and research (Young and Well CRC), she now works as a permalancer across strategy, copywriting and editing, while navigating life as a mum to baby Isa.

She is also a freelance writer and has written for publications across the globe including Monocle, Cool Hunting, Refinery29 and The Age. In her spare time, Fiona also guest lectures at General Assembly, RMIT and JMC Academy.

Karen is a writer and stylist, and the co-founder of , a creative project which aims to elevate the importance of sustainably, ethically produced food. With a background in marketing and advertising, she is now focused on  telling the stories of farmers, makers and businesses with social good at their core.



is a copywriter, editor and content consultant based in Brisbane. She is also an emerging ceramicist. With qualifications from The University of Queensland in Arts (English), and Writing, Editing and Publishing, Jo has contributed to many publications and is curious about creativity, thoughtful design and sustainability.



has a Bachelor of Commercial Photography from RMIT, and spent several years refining her skills as an assistant before going it alone. We admire Eve’s intuitive way with light, and her calming influence on set!


Caitlin Mills is a Melbourne based photographer specialising in interiors, portraits, travel and food photography. Caitlin shoots many of our studio visits and travel features, and recently travelled to Tasmania to capture this beautiful story!


started his career as a newspaper photographer in Tasmania. Now based in Melbourne, he is a regular contributor to titles such as Monocle, Wallpaper*, Belle, Feast, and Dwell.


After completing a Bachelor of Economic & Social Sciences, Sydney based lifestyle photographer Nikki To perfected her craft by assisting a number of Australia’s leading photographers. With a particular passion for shooting food, Nikki’s clients include Google Food, Jamie Oliver, Broadsheet Sydney and Qantas Magazine.


is a lifestyle photographer based in Sydney. She aims to capture fleeting moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. She is a contributor to Brace Magazine, Petite Grand and Broadsheet.


Honey is a lifestyle and food photographer based in Camden, NSW. She’s passionate about telling the stories of makers, farmers, foodies and producers through photography and video. Honey is an avid gardener with an obsession with bees and aims to one day live self-sufficiently.


Jody is in the business of documenting the genius of creators, stylists, designers, architects and builders. She has worked for News Ltd for nine years as a photojournalist before starting her own business. Jody has contributed to many national publications including, Belle, InsideOut, Real Living and House & Garden.
